Pune: Sanjay Raut Made Allegation Of Money Laundering Of Rs 500 Crore On MLA Rahul Kul, Writes Letter To Devendra Fadnavis
Daund, 13th March 2023: While the investigation in the case of Hasan Mushrif Sar Senapati Santaji Ghorpade Sugar Factory, the leader of the Thackeray group, MP Sanjay Raut, has claimed that there is malpractice going on in Bhima Sahakari Sugar Factory Ltd located at Daund of Pune district.
Raut has also said that this scam by MLA Rahul Kul is worth Rs 500 crore. He has requested through a letter to Deputy Chief Minister Devendra Fadnavis, Director General of Police and Cooperation Commissioner, that the Bharatiya Janata Party (BJP) and central agencies should investigate this matter as well.
Rahul Kul, the chairman of the factory, is also the Chairman of the Privileges Committee. This committee has issued a notice of violation of rights to Sanjay Raut so far. After the serious allegation made by Raut, MLA Rahul Kul clarified the matter stating, “For political reasons, Raut has made these allegations out of spite.”
“I have been the President of Bhima Cooperative Factory for the last 22 years. When the factory was in trouble, I tried to solve the financial problems of the factory. The allegations made by Raut are not always true. I am going to present my side of this at the right place. Raut has made these allegations based on insufficient information,” Kul added further.
Today, Raut made a serious allegation of corruption in the Bhima-Patas Cooperative Sugar Factory in Daund. He has alleged that Rahul Kul laundered money worth Rs 500 crore in this factory. He has written a letter to Deputy Chief Minister Devendra Fadnavis regarding this. Raut has demanded that Rahul Kul be investigated through ED and CBI.
