Pune: SAVA Healthcare Chairman Vinod Jadhav conferred with ‘Diamond of CWITIAN Award 2024’

Pune, 16th January 2024: The alumni organization of Cusrow Wadia Institute of Technology – CWITIAN, felicitated Mr. Vinod Ramchandra Jadhav, Chairman of SAVA Healthcare with the ‘Diamond of CWITIAN 2024’ award.

The felicitation took place during the Annual General meeting of CWITIAN. Dr. Ashok Chandak, Principal of Cusrow Wadia Institute of Technology and Dnyaneshwar Molak, Chairman of the Organization presented the Certificate of Honour to businessman Vinod Jadhav. Present on the occasion were Anil Shelar – Secretary, Mohan Anturkar – Vice President, Ashwini Kulkarni – Vice President, Atul Devare- Treasurer, along with other office bearers.

Vinod Ramchandra Jadhav earned a diploma in mechanical engineering in 1990. The initial phase of his career spanned from 1990 to 2003 in hydraulic systems, global sourcing, international trade and taxation in industry giants like Larsen and Turbo, Fiat, Mercedes-Benz and Tata Autocomp Systems. In 2003, he ventured into pharmaceutical trading industry, thereby expanding his dynamic entrepreneurial journey. He founded SAVA Healthcare Limited. In a short span, SAVA Healthcare was recognized for its reliable drug distribution network. Today, SAVA Healthcare has a thriving workforce of over 700 employees and is spread across Mauritius, Singapore, Canada, America and Barbados. Moreover, Pharmaceutical Exports Promotion Council – Ministry of Commerce, Government of India, recognized SAVA Healthcare as the Best Trading Exporter of India in 2010.

Jadhav’s philanthropic commitment mirrors his business acumen with contributions to the fields of community service, educational initiatives, healthcare projects etc. He significantly improved services at Sassoon Hospital and facilitated construction of 120-bed hostel in Ahmednagar through Vidyarthi Sahayak Samiti. His commitment to humanitarian causes is worth mentioning. He aided the repatriation of Indian citizens from UAE prisons, the cause which earned him recognition from esteemed organizations such as Rotary International and the Rotary Club of Pune Heritage.
