Pune: Sawai Gandharva Bhimsen Festival Canceled Due To COVID Pandemic

“We have canceled the festival COVID cases and the uncertainty created by the state government and local administration changing the rules from time to time”, informed Arya Sangeet Prasarak Mandal’s working president Srinivas Joshi.
He added, “This year is Bharat Ratna Pandit Bhimsen Joshi’s birth centenary year, and his fans wanted the festival, but given the grandeur, scope and time required to organize the festival in the current situation, there is no choice but to cancel the festival.”
