Pune, 5th October 2021: It is imperative now to re-open the colleges too like the schools, but the inactive higher education department is still mulling over it. The students are missing science and other practicals due to the closure.

Similarly, they are losing on their academics too. The educational experts are divided over the fact that the schools have been re-opened and colleges shut is not a good sign in the educational field. The academic institutions in the State have been closed since March 2020.

For a short while, the schools were re-opened in the rural areas and again shut down. But this time the schools have been opened in both the rural and urban areas. Interestingly, the higher college students have been inoculated yet have been receiving online education.

Meanwhile, higher education minister Uday Samant has said that the colleges will be re-started after Diwali. Many other countries have started their educational institutes. But the wait for educational institutes to restart again seems long.
