Pune: Second ‘TRPS Corporate Cup’ T20 Cricket 2026 Tournament
Pune, 5th February 2026: In the second ‘TRPS Corporate Cup’ T20 cricket tournament organized by TRPS Management, Yardi Software and KPIT teams registered winning starts by defeating their respective opponents.
In the tournament, which began at the Four Star Cricket Ground in Hinjewadi, Yardi Software easily defeated Tech Mahindra by 108 runs, thanks to a brilliant 81-run innings by Amey Pande. Batting first, the Yardi Software team set a target of 194 runs in 20 overs. Amey Pande scored 81 runs off 56 balls, including 4 fours and 6 sixes. He was supported by Anish M. (33 runs), Pradyumna Mahajan (32 runs), and Jeevan Gosavi (21 runs). While chasing this target, the Tech Mahindra team was bowled out for 86 runs in 17.4 overs. Prasad Kharade of the Yardi team took four wickets for 15 runs, while Mayur Rathod took two wickets.
In a high-scoring match where a total of 398 runs were scored, KPIT defeated Mastercard Pune by 5 wickets, thanks to a explosive 66-run innings by Akshay Badhe. Mastercard Pune, batting first, set a target of 198 runs, powered by Pankaj Laygude’s 105 runs. While chasing this target, the KPIT team had a poor start. However, middle-order batsman Akshay Badhe scored 66 runs off 36 balls with 8 fours and 3 sixes, and Alok Nagaraj scored 53 runs, helping the team achieve the target in 18.4 overs. These two players secured the team’s victory with a 102-run partnership off 57 balls for the fifth wicket.
