Pune: Security Guard Murdered In Robbery Case, Three Accused Arrested
Fursungi, 16th November 2022: The crime branch solved the murder of the security guard of the company’s godown. It has been revealed that the thieves who came to steal the iron pipe from the godown killed the security guard. Three people have been arrested in this case.
The names of those arrested are Dhruvadev Rajendra Rai (24), Pankajkumar Sikandar Rai (22), Ajay Kumar Lakhdevprasad Yadav (24), three currently residing in Dhawade Vasti, Bhosari, natives of Bihar. The deceased has been identified as Kashinath Krishna Mahajan (52), a native of Jalgaon.
Iron pipes were kept in the said godown. Pankaj Kumar Rai, who was working in a company in Jalgaon, used to bring goods to the said godown. Therefore, he was aware of the storage of large quantities of iron goods in the godown. Mahajan lived in a room in the godown area.
On Tuesday (November 15) at midnight, the accused came to the godown premises to steal. The security guard Mahajan was brutally beaten and killed. The accused stole his mobile set, ATM card, cash and iron pipe and escaped.
After Mahajan was found dead, the Crime Branch started an investigation. After the information received during the investigation, three accused were arrested.
Under the guidance of Deputy Commissioner of Police Amol Zende, Assistant Commissioner Narayan Shirgaonkar, Police Inspector Hemant Patil, Sub-Inspector Vaishali Gapat, and Pramod Tilekar, Pratap Gaikwad, Vinod Shivle, Akbar Sheikh, Daya Shegar, Rajas Sheikh, and others carried out the operation.
