Pune: Self-Reliance Must In The Backdrop Of Ongoing Geopolitical Crisis At The World Level – Air Marshal Shashiker Choudhary

Khadakwasla, 1st March 2022: Air Marshal Shashiker Choudhary, Air Officer Commanding-in-Chief, Maintenance Command of Indian Air Force today delivered a talk on ‘Fleet Sustenance: Challenges & Opportunities in IAF’ at the prestigious Military Institute of Technology (MILIT), Pune to the Defence Services Technical Staff Course Officers.

 

The Air Officer highlighted the ongoing geopolitical crisis at the world level and the reason for the country to move towards self-reliance (Atma Nirbharta). In the same context, Air Officer also highlighted the great strides taken by the Maintenance Command towards Indigenisation of various fast-moving and complex spares and equipment for Fleet Sustenance.

 

Air Vice Marshal V Rajasekhar, Commandant, MILIT thanked the AOC-in-C for highlighting various constraints, maintenance issues being faced in fleets, mitigation factors and sharing success stories of Indigenisation for self-reliant forces.
