Pune Sevasadan’s Dilasa Karyashala holds ‘Disabled Week’ for children with disability

Pune, 21st December 2022: Pune Sevasadan’s ‘Dilasa Karyashala’ recently conducted different activities under ‘Disabled Week’ for children with disabilities.

The ‘Divyang Week’ started with several sports activities. Then a magic and mimicry show by Surendra Majgoankar was organized for the school’s special children.

A dance competition was also organised and the winning schools were awarded with a memento and the children were given prizes.

The schools in age group 12-18 years, who were awarded prizes – first prize Intervida Jagruti (Hadapsar), second prize Bramdatt Vidyalay (Nigdi Pradhikaran), third prize Kamayani Vidya Mandir (Gokhale Nagar).

In the age-group 18 years and above, first prize was bagged by Sevasadan Dilasa Karyashala, second prize was bagged by Kamayani Udyog Kendra and third prize was awarded to Kamayani Karyashala, Nigdi.

An orchestra and fun-fare games was organized by Balkrishna Nehararkar of Krishna Events for the specially-challenged children. Madhuri Kulkarni, President, Rotary Club of Pune Mid-Town and members of the club, graced the occasion.

Paediatrician Dr Jayant Navrange distributed prizes at the prize-distribution ceremony and also felicitated patrons who helped the school.
