Pune: Seven Minor Boys Kill Their Friend Over Love Affair With Girl, One Youth Arrested

Pimpri Chinchwad, 15th April 2022: A 18-year-old youth was kidnapped and murdered by his friends over a love affair. Police have arrested a 23-year-old youth and booked seven minor boys in the case.

The deceased has been identified as Krishna Relekar, a resident of Bhosari. Based on a complaint from his mother, Bhosari MIDC police station (Pimpri Chinchwad police) has registered an FIR.

According to police, Krishna was taken away from his residence around 9.30 pm two days ago. His mother was at home then. Since all the children were familiar, she did not ask anything. However, he did not return home till late at night. She learnt that he was beaten by some youths.

She lodged a complaint with the police and named the youths who had taken him away. Police arrested a 23-year-old accused who revealed that Krishna was murdered due to an old quarrel and love affair.

Police said that a minor girl used to talk to Krishna and the same girl is said to be loved by four minor boys. Out of this rage, Krishna was kidnapped and taken to Shelpimpalgaon area of Chakan. There he was stoned to death. Out of the eight accused in the case, the 23-year-old accused has been arrested and seven minors are absconding.

Bhosari MIDC police are searching for them. Deputy Commissioner of Police Manchak Ipper is supervising the investigation.
