Pune, 23rd February 2026: Veteran politician Sharad Pawar is clinically stable and recovering steadily at Ruby Hall Clinic, according to the hospital’s latest medical bulletin released by Dr. Purvez Grant, Chief Cardiologist, Chairman and Managing Trustee of the hospital.

The statement said Pawar has begun taking oral fluids and a light diet, while his vital parameters remain within normal limits. He continues to receive supportive medical care and will remain under observation for the next two days to ensure complete recovery and adequate rest.

In a statement issued a day earlier, Dr. Grant and Dr. Abhijit Lodha, Consultant Physician at Ruby Hall Clinic, had said Pawar was admitted due to mild dehydration and required fluid therapy. At that time, doctors described his condition as stable and indicated he would likely be discharged after a short period of monitoring.

Hospital officials said his progress since admission has been satisfactory, with no complications reported so far. Medical staff will continue close observation before taking a final decision on discharge.
