Pune: Shirur Lok Sabha Polls Begin Amidst Cloudy Weather: 2,509 Polling Stations Ready

Shirur, 13th May 2024: The fourth phase of voting commenced today across the country, covering 96 Lok Sabha constituencies nationwide and 11 constituencies in the state. In the Shirur Lok Sabha constituency of Pune district also voting has commenced.
The Indian Meteorological Department has forecasted cloudy weather and chances of rain on Monday. Despite the morning frost and cloudy conditions in some areas, the administration is taking precautions to ensure that it does not disrupt the voting process. Additionally, the police have made adequate arrangements at each polling station to facilitate smooth and fear-free voting. The Shirur Lok Sabha constituency comprises six assembly constituencies: Junnar, Ambegaon, Khed Alandi, Shirur, Bhosari, and Hadapsar.
