Pune: Shiv Sena Protests Mismanagement and Harassment at Ruby Hall Hospital

Pune, 6th November 2023: In a demonstration led by Shiv Sena’s Eknath Shinde group, a protest took place today against the Ruby Hall Hospital administration, highlighting concerns about alleged mismanagement within the hospital. The protest also addressed accusations of sexual harassment by a hospital administration officer, linked to the tragic suicide of a female employee.

The agitation, spearheaded by Ajay Bhosale and Nana Bhangire of Shiv Sena (Eknath Shinde faction), demanded a thorough inquiry into the death of the female staff member at Ruby Hall. In response to the protest, the hospital management promptly took action against the HR head, placing him on forced leave effective immediately, pending the completion of a police inquiry.

Ali Daruwala, Advisor at Ruby Hall Clinic, stated, “Today at Ruby Hall Clinic, there was an agitation by Shiv Sena (Eknath Shinde faction) led by Ajay Bhosale and Nana Bhangire. The group protesting demanded an inquiry regarding the death of a woman staff member of Ruby Hall. The hospital management has immediately taken action against the HR head and has sent him on forced leave from today itself till the police inquiry is completed. The agitation was dispersed by the police department after all their demands were met.”
