Pune: Showing 26 Punctures In Single Tyre Man Made To Pay Rs 3000

Khadki, 15th November 2021: Sandip Shinde (35) of Lohegaon was plundered Rs 3000 by a puncture shop owner and his acquaintance by showing 26 punctures in a single tyre. Based on a complaint, Pune city police has registered a case against the duo.

According to the police, when Shinde was travelling by his two-wheeler on Bopodi road near Gopi Chawl, two people on another two-wheeler came close to him and asked him to check the air pressure of the tyre.

The accused duo have been identified as shop owner Francis Amolik and his acquaintance Prashan Waghmare.

Later they guided Shinde to their shop and showed 26 punctures in his vehicle’s tyre. At that time Shinde argued with them, yet the duo took Rs 3000 from him.

Shinde complained to the Khadki Police station regarding the matter and a case was registered against the shop owner and his acquaintance. Assistant police inspector Ganesh Patil is investigating the case.
