Pune: Shruti Chavan Shines In International Elocution Competition
Ahmedabad/Pune, 6th October 2023: The world of elocution witnessed a rising star as Shruti Subhash Chavan, a student at St. Ann’s High School & Jr. College Triveninagar, Nigdi, secured the top spot in the International Elocution competition organized by Toastmasters. Her remarkable achievement earned her not only recognition but also a substantial reward of Rs 2,50,000, in addition to a prestigious medal and certificate.
The competition, hosted by Toastmaster Delhi in Ahmedabad, Gujarat, gathered talented speakers from diverse corners of the world. Shruti Chavan, an 11th-grade Science student, took the stage and delivered a speech on the theme ‘Transformation of Country.’ Her eloquent presentation and insightful thoughts went well with the judges and the audience, propelling her to the coveted first prize.
With participants numbering close to 1000, this international event showcased the global appeal of elocution and the power of words to inspire and educate. Shruti’s success not only brings pride to her school but also serves as an inspiring testament to the potential and prowess of young talents in the field of public speaking.
