Pune: Shruti Kotwal Set to Lead India’s Speed Skating Team at 2025 Asian Games

Pune, 3rd February 2025: India’s very own speed skating champion, Shruti Kotwal, is set to make her mark as the lead female ice skater at the 2025 Asian Games in Harbin, China. Starting February 7, 2025, Kotwal will represent India on one of the biggest international sporting platforms, continuing her legacy as the first Indian female to excel in winter sports.

An icon of perseverance and determination, Shruti has been a dominant force in speed skating since 2011. She holds several records and has accumulated an impressive medal haul, including three golds at the South Asian Winter Games and podium finishes in the Am Cup Master’s Championships, with 1 silver and 1 bronze in 2022, 1 silver and 1 bronze in 2023, and a bronze in 2025.
