Pune: Siddharth Palace To Mrutyunjayeshwar Temple Road Development Plan Approved In Kothrud

Kothrud, 11th February 2023: Siddharth Palace to Mrutyunjayeshwar Temple Road has been approved to solve the traffic jam in the Kothrud area of Pune. District Guardian Minister Chandrakant Patil took an initiative for the same. Therefore, it is said that this road will be ready soon and the residents of Kothrud will be relieved from the traffic jam.

Various measures were taken to solve the traffic jam in Kothrud, and various options were brought forward through the Pune Municipal Corporation (PMC). There was a constant demand to solve the traffic jam on the Siddharth Palace to Mrutyunjayeshwar Temple road.

However, there were many obstacles in the work of said road. As most of the land on this route was owned by Kirloskar Cummins, land acquisition was a major issue.

Patil made special efforts to solve this problem. Finally, these efforts have been successful and the development plan of Siddharth Palace to Mrutyunjayeshwar Temple has been approved.

The said road will be constructed with the help of Kirloskar Cummins and through the Public Works Department. This road will be widened to 20 meters and Rs 15 crores is expected to be spent for it. The Building Department is planning to complete the said road work by July 2023.
