Pune Citizens Welcomed Vande Bharat Express With Full Enthusiasm

Pune, 11th February 2023: After the inauguration of the Mumbai-Solapur Vande Bharat Express by Prime Minister Narendra Modi, it arrived at platform number one of the Pune railway station within three hours on Friday (February 10) evening. There was a huge crowd at the railway station to welcome the train.

MP Shrirang Barane, MLA Siddharth Shirole, Sunil Shelke, Sunil Kamble, Pune Divisional Railway Manager (DRM) Indurani Dubey, Senior Commercial Manager Dr Milind Hirve, DCP (Traffic) Vijay Magar along with Railway officials were present on this occasion.

There was a huge crowd at the Pune railway station in the evening as the Vande Bharat Express was about to arrive. As soon as the train arrived, it was welcomed by the sound of drums and beats. The passengers from Mumbai disembarked and the train departed after the dignitaries showed the green flag.

The Vande Bharat train was full of students, railway employees, YouTubers, invitees, passengers, etc. Everyone was taking selfies and making video calls. The train journey’s pictures were also posted on social media.

The train departs from Chhatrapati Shivaji Maharaj Terminus in Mumbai at 4.05 pm and arrives at Pune station at 7.15 pm and reaches Solapur at 10.40 pm. It also has halts at Dadar, Kalyan, Kuruduvadi.

From Solapur, the train departs at 6.05 am and arrives at Pune station at 9.25 am and reaches CSMT Mumbai at 12.35 pm. It runs on all days except Wednesday.
