Pune: Six Passengers Injured In PMPML Bus Brake Failure Accident
Pune, 19/07/2022: An incident occurred on Pune-Satara road in which six passengers sustained minor injuries due to brake failure of a PMPML bus. A serious accident was averted due to the intervention of the bus driver.
The bus going from Katraj to Lohegaon broke down in front of Rajarshi Shahu Bank in Dhankawadi. It is downhill from Bharti Vidyapeeth to Dhankawadi. The bus driver noticed brake failure on a steep incline.
The driver then tried to reduce the speed of the bus keeping in view the situation. After that, the bus hit the pillar of Sri Shankar Maharaj Flyover and the speed of the bus slowed down. Six passengers sustained minor injuries in the incident.
