Pune, 9th January 2026: Vijay Cricket Academy and Aryans Cricket Academy teams defeated Cricket Next Academy and Ashtapailu Sports teams respectively to enter the semi-finals in the 4th ‘Sportsfield Monsoon League’ Under-14 30-30 overs cricket tournament organized by Sportsfield Management.

In the match played at the Tembhekar Farms Cricket Ground on Satara Road, Vijay Academy defeated Cricket Next Academy by 8 wickets, thanks to the accurate bowling of Chirag Tank. Batting first, Cricket Next Academy set a target of 144 runs. Advait Amondkar scored 67 runs. Chirag Tank of Vijay Academy bowled accurately, taking 3 wickets for 10 runs. Samarth Jadhav took two wickets. Vijay Cricket Academy achieved the target in 20.2 overs, losing only 2 wickets. Rajveer Hole scored an unbeaten 52 runs off 47 balls with 10 fours, and Samarth Jadhav scored an unbeaten 56 runs off 56 balls with 9 fours. The duo forged a 114-run partnership off 98 balls for the third wicket, securing an easy victory for their team.

Thanks to a century scored by Samarth Pokale, Aryans Cricket Academy defeated Ashtapailu Sports team by 40 runs. Batting first, the Aryans Cricket Academy team posted a formidable total of 225 runs. Samarth Pokale played an unbeaten innings of 138 runs off 83 balls, including 18 fours and 7 sixes. On the other side, Ayush Gosavi contributed 60 runs. The duo forged a 95-run partnership for the second wicket off 73 balls. While chasing this target, the All-Rounder Sports team was restricted to 185 runs. Diyaana Shetiya (51 runs), Hrishikesh Deshmukh (37 runs), Nidhi Marne (30 not out), and Anish Dable (27 runs) contributed with runs and put up a fight, but they could not prevent their team’s defeat.
