Pune: Soon WiFi Facility In PMPML Buses, Tender Process Begins

Pune, 7th May 2022: Free Wi-Fi service will soon be introduced in Pune Mahanagar Parivahan Mahamandal Ltd (PMPML) buses to attract passengers. This has been approved in the meeting of the Board of Directors of the PMPML.

The Board of Directors of PMPML met Pune Municipal Commissioner Vikram Kumar, Pimpri-Chinchwad Municipal Corporation Commissioner Rajesh Patil, PMPML Chairman and Managing Director Laxminarayan Mishra, Joint Managing Director Dr Chetna Kerure, Chief Transport Manager Rajesh Rupanwar etc. were present for the meeting. Various measures are being taken by the PMPML to increase the number of passengers in the near future.

The Wi-Fi facility will be launched in the near future through the tender process. The process has been started by the administration for this. The Board of Directors also approved issuing quarterly to annual passes along with monthly passes at discounted rates to the students.
