Pune: Southern Army Commander Lt Gen AK Singh Embarks on Crucial Nepal Visit

Pune, 15th January 2024: Lt Gen AK Singh, General Officer Commanding-in-Chief Southern Army and Colonel 11 Gorkha Rifles & Sikkim Scouts and President Gorkha Brigade is visiting Nepal on an official visit with effect from 16 to 22 January.

The multifaceted visit will involve engagements with veterans honouring their contribution, service and sacrifice. He will also interact with Ambassador, Nepalese Military Officials and dignitaries. He will also visit Ex Servicemen Contributary Health Scheme Polyclinics (ECHS) and Pension Paying Offices (PPOs).

The visit will fortify mutual relations between India and Nepal and foster a spirit of camaraderie and mutual respect. It also underlines our firm commitment to honouring our esteemed veterans and acknowledge their vital role in maintaining special relationship between both Nations.
