Pune: Speeding Car Loses Control, Rams into Roadside Shop
Yerwada, 19th January 2026: A disturbing CCTV clip from Yerwada has gone viral, showing a high-speed crash that took place late Sunday night near the Sadal Baba Dargah area. The video has once again sparked outrage among citizens over dangerous driving and lack of road discipline in Pune.
As per preliminary information, a car racing through the narrow locality lost control and smashed into a roadside shop around 2.25 am. One person was seriously injured in the crash, while the shop and nearby property suffered heavy damage.
The loud impact sent shockwaves through the neighbourhood, drawing people out of their homes and shops.
