Pune: Spy Camera Found In Bathroom And Bedroom Of Female Doctor’s Quarter

Katraj, 8th July 2021: It has been found that a spy camera was installed in the quarter of a female doctor of a reputed hospital in the city. This camera was installed in the bathroom and bedroom.

Based on a complaint from a 31-year-old woman doctor, an FIR has been registered against unknown accused at Bharati Vidyapeeth police station.

According to police, the complainant lives with another female doctor in the hospital’s service quarters. She had gone to the room to take a bath after finishing work at the hospital on Tuesday evening. The lights in the bedroom and bathroom were not getting switched on so she called an electrician.

When he opened the bulb holder in the bathroom for repairs, he found a spy camera, memory card and a backup inside. Later, when the holder of the bedroom bulb was opened, a similar camera, the memory card was found there. The woman doctor immediately lodged a complaint with the police.

Officials said that further investigation is going on. There is no CCTV camera in the building. The guard in his statement told police that no outsider had gone inside the quarters.
