Pimpri Chinchwad, 26th January 2022: Maharashtra State Road Transport Corporation (MSRTC) workers today held a begging agitation to draw the attention of the state government towards their plight.

They said, “Our demands are not reaching them. This is our misfortune and that is why today, we are going to buy drums from the money earned by begging on the signal. We are trying to convey our voice to them by playing it”.

Meanwhile, Bhosari police station inspector Jitendra Kadam and his staff rushed to the spot after receiving information about the agitation.

The agitation has been going on for the last few months for various demands of ST employees. Today a begging agitation was organized on the signal at Nashik Phata.

“About 80 workers have died but Chief Minister Uddhav Thackeray is not giving us justice. Since they are not listening to us, we are going to beg on the signal, buy a drum from that money, play it and convey our messages to them. The administration knows that we are being treated unfairly. However, they do not take our case. This is our great misfortune”, they further informed.
