Hanif Somji, Sohail Somji, Alnesh Somji, Jenice Somji Booked By Pune Police In Fraud Case

Pune, 26th January 2022: The development agreement of Kharadi Agro Trading Company in Pune has been canceled on the basis of falsified documents and the land has been sold to another company.
A case of fraud has been registered against four people at Yerwada police station in this regard. The incident took place at Wadgaon Sheri between 2008 and 2013.
The case has been registered against Hanif Somji, Sohail Somji, Alnesh Somji, Jenice Somji (all residents of Boat Club Road). Iqbal Mastan Sheikh (37, resident of Hadapsar), director of Kharadi Agro Trading Company, has filed a complaint at Yerwada Police Station.
According to police, the accused was a director of Kharadi Agro Trading Company. The company removed them from the post of director in 2010. After this Nizar Mewani and Nurjaha Mewani were the directors of this company. In 2015, the complainant became a director of the company. Meanwhile, the company had entered into a 6.6 R land development agreement with Hanif Somji at Wadgaon Sheri. The agreement was signed by Alnesh Somji on behalf of the company.
The company had paid Rs 33 lakh to Hanif Somji in return. After that Hanif Somji had written the deed in the name of the company. Then in 2013 accused Hanif Somji and Surya Reality Pvt. Ltd. together they sold the land purchased by the complainant’s company to Sham Mankar and other partners. Hanif Somji signed the document on behalf of the company. For this, the accused canceled the power of attorney of the company.
The accused took the cheque in the name of the complainant’s company while making the purchase deed. They also opened fake accounts in three banks in the name of the complainant’s company and encashed cheques.
According to the complaint, the accused had opened a fake bank account by submitting fake company documents while opening a bank account and using fake rubber stamps on it.
Police is further investigating the case.
