Pune: Student Driving Car Gifted By Father Hits Biker To Death On SB Road, Case Registered
Pune 6th Sept 2023: In a tragic incident reported on Senapati Bapat road on Tuesday, a security guard died after he was hit by a student who was driving a car gifted by his father a few months back. The security guard identified as Sunil Kumar Das, a resident of Bihar was riding a bike purchased by his years of savings a few months ago. He was also working part time as a delivery boy.
On Tuesday, the student who is a resident of Uttar Pradesh was driving with his friends to their paying guest facility in the city when the car hit the biker from behind leaving him dead. Das was declared dead of multiple injuries by the doctors. The deceased had come to Pune about three years ago in search of a job and was residing at a rented house in Parvati area.
Sunil’s brother has lodged a complaint with Chatushrungi police in the matter. The police have booked the student in the case under relevant sections and they have also sent his blood samples to verify if he was drunk at the time of accident. Further investigation in the matter is underway.
