Pune: Student Drowns in Indrayani River During Outing, Two Rescued
Pune, 26th April 2023: On Tuesday, tragedy struck as one of six students who went swimming in the Indrayani River drowned.
Aditya Sharad Rane (22), a student from Madhya Pradesh studying at an engineering college in Talegaon Dabhade, was identified as the deceased.
The group of students had gone to Jadhavwadi to swim in the Indrayani River on Tuesday afternoon, but they were unprepared for the unpredictable waters, and three of them drowned. Their friends attempted to rescue them and managed to save two, but Aditya could not be saved.
