Sadashiv Peth, 19th December 2022: Students appearing for competitive exams protested on Shastri Road in Pune, stating that the new Maharashtra Public Service Commission (MPSC) exam pattern should be implemented from 2025 onwards. A large number of students participated in this protest with loud slogans.

“We students have been preparing for the state services exam for many years. But suddenly, an order was issued by the commission that the syllabus is being changed from 2023. We do not accept this decision. We demand from the state government that the commission implement that rule in 2025,” students stated.

“The state government is going ahead with several elections. Therefore, the decision to implement our curriculum decision from 2025 is easily possible for the state government,” they said.

Students also warned that the state government should consider the students and take a decision; otherwise, they will stage a strong protest
