Pune students secure national ranks in CMA Foundation exam

Pune, 9th January 2026: The Institute of Cost Accountants of India (ICMAI) has announced the results of the CMA Foundation examination held in December 2025, with the Pune chapter registering a pass percentage of 54.40 per cent. Pune students Soham Joglekar and Radhika Marathe brought laurels to the city by securing the 8th and 9th ranks respectively in the All Indian Ranking.

Congratulating the successful candidates, ICMAI National Vice-President CMA Neeraj Joshi said the cost and management accounting profession offers wide career opportunities and continues to attract students from the commerce stream. He noted that students from Maharashtra have put up a strong performance in the latest results.

ICMAI Pune Chapter Chairman CMA Shrikant Ippalpalli said it was a matter of pride that two students from Pune featured in the national merit list. He added that the Pune chapter consistently encourages students to pursue careers in cost and management accounting and provides guidance to aspiring professionals.

Office-bearers of ICMAI, including WIRC Secretary CMA Chaitanya Moharir, Pune Chapter Vice-Chairman CMA Rahul Chincholkar, Secretary CMA Himanshu Dave, Treasurer CMA Tanuja Mantrawadi, Former Chairman CMA Nilesh Kekan, CMA Nagesh Bhagane, and Management Committee Members CMA Amey Tikale, CMA Anuja Dabhade, and CMA Nikhil Agrawal, also congratulated the achievers.

According to ICMAI Pune Chapter, a felicitation ceremony for the successful students will be held on January 24, 2026, at the CMA Bhavan in Karve Nagar.
