Pune: Taffic Jam From New Katraj Tunnel To Warje On Mumbai Bangalore National Highway
Dhayari, 19th July 2023: The bustling suburb of Dhayari is currently experiencing a major traffic crisis as huge potholes on the Mumbai Bangalore National Highway have brought the traffic system to a grinding halt. The particularly affected area is the Mutha river Bridge vicinity of Vadgaon Budruk, which has resulted in long queues of vehicles stretching all the way from the river bridge to the new Katraj tunnel. The ongoing traffic jam has left drivers, citizens, workers, and students shocked and stranded.
The deteriorating road conditions have led to a severe disruption of vehicular movement, with all service roads in Vadgaon, Dhayari, Narhe, and Ambegaon areas also becoming blocked due to the traffic congestion.
Local residents and commuters have been voicing their frustrations as the potholes pose significant dangers to both drivers and pedestrians. With the traffic situation reaching a critical point, there are growing concerns about potential accidents and further inconvenience to the public.
The lack of immediate action to address the issue has further exacerbated the situation, leading to an outcry from the affected communities. Local authorities and civic bodies have been urged to take swift measures to repair the potholes and restore normalcy to the traffic flow.
