Pune: Tamhini Ghat Remote Areas To Be Soon Covered By Mobile Network
Mulshi, 28th March 2022: The mobile network will be available in the remote Tamhini Ghat area on Pune-Tamhini-Kolad road. Work on Jio Mobile Tower at Adharwadi in Mulshi taluka of Pune district has just started.
At present in this part of Maharashtra, the mobile phone network is not available due to the hilly terrain, remote valleys, and sparsely populated areas.
The traffic on the Tamhini-Kolad road has increased significantly. Accidents and injuries are not reported on time due to a lack of a phone network. Many communication barriers result in no contact which is also affecting employment and education. Villagers have been demanding the construction of mobile towers for many years.
The mobile tower at Adharwadi on the border of Raigad and Pune districts will provide a network in the area of Adarwadi, Dongarwadi, Parate Wadi, Kondethar in Tamhini Ghat.
Through the Guardian Minister Ajit Pawar, MP Supriya Sule, Mulshi Taluka President Ankush More made efforts for the mobile tower.
More presided over the function for the erection of the mobile tower. Amol Pawar of Jio Company, Shankar Marathe, Chairman of Nive Tantamuktti Samiti, Shankar Marathe, chairman of Nive Tantamukti Samiti, Nive Police Patil Ganesh Nivekar, Subhash Bamgude, Laxman Kondhekar, Former Sarpanch of Tamhini Sandeep Bamgude, Satish Bamgude, Laxman Kondhekar, Former Sarpanch of Tamhini Sandeep Bamgude, Chandrakant Dhokle, Satyawan Bamgude, Mahipat Bamgude, Nathuram Bamgude, Shahaji Bahirat, Pandurang Yenpure, Vishal Bhame, Subhash Yenpure, Atmaram Bamgude, Asha Bamgude, Kotwal Suvarna Bamgude, etc. were present.
The tower at Adharwadi will be operational in a month. Efforts are also underway for the Jio Company’s mobile towers at Tamhini-Lavasa Road, Chachivali, Dhokalwadi.
