Pune: Tank At Harantale To Provide Adequate Water In Lohegaon Area – Corporator Rahul Bhandare
Lohegaon, 19th January 2022: For the last several years, people from Lohegaon and its surrounding localities like Yojana Nagar, Pawar Vasti, Adarsh Nagar, Santnagar, Karmabhoomi Nagar, Gurudwara Colony, Pathare Vasti have been deprived of abundant water. With this in mind, for the last two and a half years, Corporator Rahul Bhandare had consistently pursued the construction of a water tank at Harantale.
Bhandare also gave information about water lines which have been laid everywhere under the Bhama Askhed 24/7 project. Today, Bhandare took the citizens of the area and inspected the water tank at Harantale along with junior engineer Dattatreya Tambhare.
He further informed that the work has been completed and by cleaning the tank, checking the leakage, and connecting the remaining lines, it will soon provide abundant water to the citizens and quench the thirst of all.
Bhandare said that in Yojana Nagar, Pawar Vasti, Adarsh Nagar area, people still buy water from outside.
Many local residents including Sudarshan Bhandwalkar, Ganesh Karale, Vishal Pawar, Manohar Mohite, Vinod Kalpande, Nitin Gawande were present on this occasion.
