Pune: Telecom Company Employees Float Own Company, Dupe Employer Of Rs 4.5 Crore

Hinjawadi, 25th February 2022: Pimpri Chinchwad police has registered an FIR against five employees of a private company for allegedly duping their employer of contracts worth Rs 4.5 Crore by floating own company.

Based on a complaint from a 42-year-old man, an FIR has been registered at the Hinjawadi police station. The accused have been identified as Sanjay Suresh Bari, Dinesh Sharma, Arun Kumar, Priyanka Sanjay Bari and Ganesh Vitthal Patil.

According to the police, the accused Sanjay Bari, Arun Kumar and Dinesh Sharma were working in various positions in the complainant’s company. The accused then set up another company in Jalgaon and USA and registered them in the names of their family and relatives. The accused then diverted the work coming to the complainant’s company to their own company. The accused had diverted work worth Rs 4.5 crore to their own company.

Police Inspector Sonyabapu Deshmukh is further investigating the case.
