Pune: Tempo Driver Beaten With Rod Brutally, One Arresrted
Pune, 27th November 2022: Out of anger at not giving way to the motor, a gang brutally beat up a tempo driver. This incident took place on November 25 around 7:57 in the evening at Katraj Chowk. Bharti Vidyapeeth Police Station has arrested one person in this case.
The arrested person has been identified as Sandeep Narsingh Chavan (23), a resident of Dhayari. Three of his companions have escaped. The name of the injured is Adinath Jadhav (45), a resident of Kondhwa Budruk.
According to the police, Adinath, a tempo driver, was on his way to Katraj on November 25. At that time, Sandeep, the motorist, flashed his lights and signalled him to go ahead. However, Adinath stopped the tempo due to a signal at Katraj Chowk.
As he got angry, Sandeep got out of the car and abused Adinath and beat him up. Adinath was also beaten and seriously injured by other accomplices. An assistant police inspector is investigating the matter.
