Pune: Ten Persons Booked for Obscene Dance and Loud Music in Lonavla Bungalow

Lonavla, 1st April 2023: Ten individuals have been booked by the Lonavla City Police Station for dancing with women and making obscene gestures while playing loud music in Sharma Villa, Kurwande village.

The individuals had rented the bungalow from its owner, Shreyash Sharma, a resident of Mumbai, and were charged under Sections 294, 188, 34, 33(N), and 131 of the IPC. Police Officer Manoj More of Lonavla City filed the complaint.

Assistant Superintendent of Police of Lonavala Sub-Division Satyasai Karthik took action as soon as he learned about the incident.
According to the complaint filed by Manoj More, the ten individuals involved were Shivaji Ramchandra Bhosale, Abhijeet Machindra Sonalkar, Dhanaji Arjun Jagtap, Santosh Namdev Shinde, Pravin Chandramohan Pailwan, Feroz Jahangir Tamboli, Shreyash Sharma, the owner of the bungalow, and bungalow caretaker Laxman Dabhade, Kailash Pawar, and Guru Patil, who are all residents of Lonavla.

Of these, six persons from Sangola, Solapur, along with four women, have been detained by the police. The incident occurred at 1 am, and the bungalow was rented out without a license from the Maharashtra Tourism Development Corporation. Several private bungalows in Lonavala City are being illegally rented out for commercial purposes.

Police constables Ankush Naikude, Asha Kawthekar, Ankush Pawar, Subhash Shinde, Jairaj Patankar, and Manoj More, all part of the team of Assistant Superintendent of Police of Lonavla Sub-Division Satyasai Karthik, carried out the operation.

Under the guidance of Pune Rural Superintendent of Police Ankit Goyal, Police Inspector of Lonavla City Sitaram Dubal is conducting further investigations
