Pune: Thai Woman Deported For Working At Massage Centre Violating Visa Rules
Viman Nagar, 27th February 2023: A foreign woman has been detained in Pune for working without a visa at a spa. The woman was taken into custody after the police received a tip-off about illegal activities taking place at the spa.
According to the police, the woman was a Thai national and had been working at the spa for several months without a valid visa in Viman Nagar area. She was reportedly involved in providing massages and other services to customers. She had come to India in 2022 on a tourist visa. She was deported on February 26 and now she cannot come to India.
The police have also arrested the owner of the spa for allegedly hiring the woman without verifying her visa status.
