Pune: Thaikkudam Bridge Band’s performance concludes the first day of 18th Vasantotsav

Thaikkudam Bridge, a multi-genre Indian music band took over the second half of the first day of Vasantutsav. The band featured tracks from their iconic album ‘Navarasam’. The most highlighting part was when the band performed ‘Teri Dewaani…’ and brought the crowd enthusiasm creating a dynamic energy.
They even performed some Malayalam songs that made the crowd sway and dance along with the beats. The synergy between the crowd and the band with their conventional way of performing was hands down an evening to remember. They also paid tribute to renowned music composers Ajay-Atul with their rendition of ‘Khel Mandala’. The band consisted of Krishna Bongane, Sujit Sukumaran, Neelamadhav Mohapatra, and Govind Pitamberan.
The second day of the Vasantotsav (Saturday, January 18) will feature a performance by sisters Ranjani and Gayatri (Vocal & Violin), followed by a vocal performance of Pt Sanjeev Abhyankar of the Mewati Gharana. The day will conclude with a performance by renowned sitar player Shujaat Khan.
