Pune: Three Family Members Killed In Head-On Collision On Ahilyanagar-Kalyan Highway
Junnar, 1st January 2025: A tragic road accident claimed the lives of three family members today in a head-on collision between a car and a two-wheeler near the Sitewadi junction on the Ahilyanagar-Kalyan Highway, within the limits of Sitewadi village, near Otur village in Junnar taluka, Pune district. The accident occurred around 3 pm.
The deceased have been identified as Nilesh Dnyaneshwar Kute (40), Jayashree Nilesh Kute (35), and Sanvi Nilesh Kute (14), all residents of Pimpri Pendhar, Junnar, and members of the same family.
According to the information received, Nilesh Kute was travelling from Pimpri Pendhar towards Kalyan on his bike, registration number MH 05 BX 4824, when he was struck head-on by a car, registration number MH 16 AT 0715, coming from the opposite direction. The collision resulted in the immediate deaths of Nilesh Kute, his wife Jayashree Kute, and their daughter Sanvi Kute.
An investigation into the incident is being carried out by the Otur Police Station of the Pune Rural Police Force.
