Pune: Three Killed And Three Injured In Major Accident On Talegaon Dhamdhere-Nhavare Road
Pune 4th Sept 2023: A tragic accident was reported on the Talegaon Dhamdhere-Nhavare Road on Sunday evening at around 7 PM. A loaded tempo collided with a car, resulting in the death of three people while three sustained serious injuries. Fortunately, there were no fatalities in the accident. The incident took place on Sunday evening, and both vehicles suffered significant damage.
According to the police, the accident occurred near Todkar Vasti on Talegaon Dhamdhere-Nhavare Road when a car and a tempo collided with each other with great force. The tempo, which was traveling at a high speed (MH-16 CD 4742), and a Swift car (MH-12 SY 5659) were involved in the collision, resulting in a severe impact. The accident was so severe that both vehicles suffered extensive damage. The car’s occupants, identified as Kavita Borude and Yogita Borude, along with the car’s driver Raju Shinde, sustained fatal injuries.
Kishori Borude, who was in the car, was injured, while Dheeraj Kantilal Lokhande and Shriram Bapurav Mande, who were in the tempo, also sustained injuries. The local police rushed to the spot of the accident and took the injured to the nearby hospital. Further investigation into this incident is underway.
