Pune: Three Trees Cut As Hoardings Not Visibile In Moshi, PCMC Files FIR

Moshi, 30th December 2023: Three trees lining the road have been felled to improve the visibility of a hoarding at Sastewadi in Moshi, Pimpri Chinchwad. This unauthorized action has led to the registration of a case at the Bhosari MIDC police station.

 

The case has been filed against the owner of Sairaj Hoarding and an unidentified individual. Bhanudas Tapkir of the Pimpri-Chinchwad Municipal Corporation (PCMC) took the initiative to report the incident, leading to the legal proceedings.

 

According to police, Sainath Hoarding, located at Sastewadi, faced visibility issues due to the presence of trees obstructing its advertisement. In an attempt to address this, without obtaining proper permissions, three trees, including a rain tree, a pimpal, and a Peltophorum, were cut down approximately 12 to 15 feet from the ground.

 

Bhosari MIDC police station has registered a case in response to this unauthorized tree cutting. Further investigation is going on.
