Pune: Three Youths Arrested for Vehicle Vandalism; Accused Made to Crawl by Yerwada Police
Pune, 17th October 2025: Yerwada Police have registered cases against individuals involved in vandalizing vehicles in the Laxmi Nagar area on October 7, 2025, under the Yerwada Police Station limits.
According to FIR No. 706/2025, charges have been filed under Sections 118, 189(2), and 191(2) of the Bharatiya Nyaya Sanhita (BNS), along with Sections 3 and 7 of the Arms Act and relevant provisions of the Criminal Amendment Act.
The accused arrested in this case are:
Mustafa Bashir Bepari (19)
Saif Ali Azimuddin Shaikh (21)
In addition, in connection with a related case (FIR No. 183/2025) registered under Sections 117(2) and 115(2) of the BNS, and Sections 3(1)(ii), 3(2), and 3(4) of the Maharashtra Control of Organised Crime Act (MCOCA), accused Karan Khanderao Kumbhar (23) has also been taken into custody for further investigation.
Police officers have inspected the crime scene and initiated a thorough investigation, with efforts ongoing to locate other absconding accused linked to the case.
The operation was conducted under the guidance of Senior Police Inspector Ravindra Shelke of Yerwada Police Station.
