Pune To Be Made Carbon Neutral, All Government Departments In Maharashtra To Use Electric Vehicle From April 2022: Aditya Thackeray

Pune, 30th September 2021: Considering the pollution, everyone needs to give priority to electric vehicles and from April 2022, every government department will have e-vehicles, announced Tourism and Environment Minister Aditya Thackeray at a press conference in Pune on Wednesday.

Thackeray was on a tour of Pune and Pimpri Chinchwad. He held a meeting of my ‘Vasundhara Abhiyan’ at Vidhan Bhavan and then he interacted with journalists.

Thackeray said that the environment and pollution have become a big issue all over the world. It is also being discussed in many places. Special efforts will be made to make Pune carbon neutral by 2030. Also, in Pune city, many activities are being carried out every week along the river to protect the environment, he said.
