Schools In Pune And Pimpri Chinchwad Expected To Reopen From October 4

Pune/Pimpri: Classes VIII to XII within the limits of Pune Municipal Corporation (PMC) will be started from 4th October. This will bring relief to the students, parents and teachers who have been at home for a long time.

 

PMC Additional Commissioner Dnyaneshwar Molak said that classes VIII to XII will be started from October 4. Guidelines in this regard will be issued by the Pune Municipal Corporation.

Planning is underway at the municipal level with a view to starting municipal and private schools in Pimpri Chinchwad also. The proposal has been submitted to PCMC Commissioner Rajesh Patil for approval. After the proposal is approved, further action will be taken, said Parag Mundhe, Assistant Administrative Officer, Education Department, Pimpri-Chinchwad Municipal Corporation.

Chief Executive Officer of Zilla Parishad Ayush Prasad has given instructions regarding the planning for starting schools in rural areas of Pune district.
