Pune: Traders File Complaint Against ‘Sky High’ And ‘Fly High’ Hotels For Fraud

Kharadi, 4th March 2023: Five traders in Pune have filed a complaint with the Chandan Nagar police station, accusing Shaukat Ali Khan and his wife Renuratan Shaukat Ali Khan, who manages the ‘Sky High’ and ‘Fly High’ hotels in Kharadi, of committing financial fraud. The accused had allegedly taken goods worth Rs 73 lakh 65 thousand 946 from the traders between 2016 and December 30, 2022, claiming that the items were required for their hotels.

The traders stated that they had supplied coal, fish, vegetables, groceries, milk and milk products to the hotels on various occasions, but had not received any payment for their services. The police have registered a case based on the investigation of the complaint.

The accused have been identified as Shaukat Ali Khan and Renuratan Shaukat Ali Khan, who reside in Kharadi. Awadhesh Kumar Ramlularak Upadhyay, a resident of Keshavnagar, Mundhwa, filed the complaint with the police.

Trader Simarjit Singh Arora provided coal worth Rs 6 lakh 84 thousand 935 to the hotels, while Ashwini Anil Pardeshi sold them fish worth Rs 6 lakh 82 thousand 800. Shrikant Vijay Kapse supplied groceries worth Rs 1 lakh 74 thousand, and Upadhyay sold milk and milk products worth Rs 39 lakh 229 to the hotels.

The police recorded the statements of all the traders and conducted an investigation before registering a case against the accused. The incident took place at the ‘Sky High’ and ‘Fly High’ hotels located at Tower Number Two, WTC, Kharadi.

Further investigation is going on.
