Pune Traffic Alert: Katraj-Kondhwa Flyover Partially Closed From August 31 to September 30
Pune, 27th August 2026: The Katraj-Kondhwa flyover will be partially closed to vehicular traffic during night hours from August 31 to September 30 to facilitate essential structural repair work.
The flyover will remain partially closed between 11 pm and 6 am throughout the repair period. Traffic will be diverted to the service road below the flyover.
“The structural repair work is necessary from a safety perspective. Citizens and motorists are requested to cooperate and use alternative routes so that the work can be completed quickly and safely,” said Rajendra Jadhav, Superintending Engineer (Projects), Pune Municipal Corporation (PMC).
The PMC has appealed to motorists to plan their journeys accordingly and follow the traffic diversions during the repair work. The civic body has also expressed regret for the inconvenience caused to commuters.
The repair work is expected to continue for a month, with restrictions in place only during the night to minimise disruption to daytime traffic.
