Pune: Traffic Advisory Announced For Prime Minister’s Visit, Know Details

Pune 30th July 2023: The traffic department of Pune City has announced traffic advisory on August 1 to facilitate the movement of VVIP convoys in the city as Prime Minister Narendra Modi is scheduled to visit the city. Prime Minister will inaugurate several development projects including Pune Metro during his visit to Pune. Besides, he will also be conferred with Lokmanya Tilak Award on the same day.

Chief Minister and Deputy Chief Ministers of the state will also remain present in the city for the program. The traffic department has advised citizens to avoid taking several routes during the specific period on August 1 to avoid inconvenience.

Changes in the traffic movement at below mentioned routes will be made between 6:00 am to 3:00 PM on 1st August for some time when there will be VVIP movement:

Pune University Chowk, Simla Office Chowk, Sancheti Chowk, S.G. Barve Chowk, Gadgil Putala Chowk, Budhwar Chowk, Sevasadan Chowk, Alka Chowk, Tilak Road, Jedhe Chowk, Ferguson College Road, Sangamwadi Road, Sadal Baba Chowk, Golf Club Chowk, and Airport Road

These routes will remain open for traffic except during passing of VVIP vehicles.
