Pune: Traffic Diversions At Chandni Chowk Till Wednesday, October 5

Pune, 4th October 2022: After the demolition of the old bridge at Chandni Chowk on the Mumbai-Bangalore National Highway, the road has been temporarily rerouted from 11.30 pm on October 4 to 1.30 am on October 5 due to the work of breaking rocks on the side of the road.
Under Bavdhan, Hinjewadi, Dehu Road, Wakad Traffic Divisions, heavy traffic coming from Mumbai on the Mumbai-Bangalore National Highway has been banned from Urse Tolnaka to Chandni Chowk. On the Mumbai-Bangalore National Highway, access to all types of vehicles has been closed from Sus to Chandni Chowk.
Alternative routes have been made available for light and passenger four-wheeler vehicles from Mumbai to Pune Satara. All types of vehicles coming from Mumbai will go from Urse Tollnaka through Central Chowk via Old Mumbai-Pune Highway to Bhakti Shakti Chowk, Nashik Phata Pune.
By turning left from Wakad Chowk, one can go through Rajiv Gandhi Bridge via University road. From Bhumkar Chowk, turn left to Rakshak Chowk via Dange Chowk, Rajiv Gandhi Bridge via Aundh, Shivajinagar, Kiwale Chowk to Ravet, Dange Chowk to Rakshak Chowk, Rajiv Gandhi Bridge to Aundh, Shivajinagar.
Pimpri-Chinchwad Deputy Commissioner of Police Anand Bhoite has informed that by turning left from Radha Chowk, one can go to the desired destination via Baner Road via Pune University Chowk.
