Pune: Second Phase Of Recruitment Examination For PMC Completed

Pune, 4th October 2022: The online examination for the post of Junior Engineer (Civil) in the ongoing recruitment process of the Pune Municipal Corporation (PMC) was conducted without any hitch on Monday (October 3). Around 12,700 candidates took this exam at 73 centres in 15 cities.

 

Meanwhile, it has been clarified by the municipality that the result will be declared by the municipality as soon as the result is approved by the agency conducting the examination.

 

PMC has given the task of examination to Indian Banking Personnel Selection (IBPS). The first examination was conducted by this institute on September 26. On Monday, the exam for the post of Junior Engineer (Civil) was held at 73 centres in 15 cities. 17,273 candidates had applied for this exam.

73 per cent of them i.e. 12,704 candidates took the actual exam. 152 officials were appointed as inspectors by the municipality for this examination. Deputy Commissioner of General Administration Department Sachin Ithape informed that the examination was conducted smoothly without any hitch.

 

Meanwhile, the examination for the post of Assistant Encroachment Inspector will be held today (October 4) in the morning session and for the post of Assistant Legal Officer in the afternoon session. The examination for the post of clerk (200 posts) is likely to be held between October 10 to October 13.

 

As the exam is conducted online, the result of the exam will be declared soon. The work of preparing the result of the first examination is in the final stage. After classifying the result according to the reservation, the company will send the result to the municipality.

 

Ithape said that the result will be published immediately with the approval of the commissioner.
