Pune Traffic Police Issues Final No-Parking Orders For Various Places, Check Details Here

Pune, 1st February 2024: In a bid to ensure the safe and smooth flow of traffic in Pune city, the Pune city traffic branch has issued final orders, taking into account objections and suggestions received on the temporary orders issued earlier. The orders pertain to no-parking zones under the Bharati Vidyapeeth, Chaturshringi, and Warje traffic branches.

As per the issued order:

1. Bharti Vidyapeeth Traffic Branch: No parking is allowed up to 400 meters on both sides of the eastern service road leading from Over Bridge to Dari Bridge in front of BAPS Shri Swaminarayan Mandir on Mumbai Bangalore National Highway 48.

2. Chaturshringi Traffic Branch: No parking on both sides of the road up to 10 meters on the left and right sides of Sahakari Griha Rachana entrance.

3. Warje Traffic Branch: No parking for all types of vehicles up to 100 meters between Krishna Plaza, Canal Road Karve Nagar adjacent to MSEDCL transformer station, Kelkar Upahargruh to Basaveshwar Tea House opposite Arogya Kothi.

Deputy Commissioner of Police Shashikant Borate clarified in the issued order that the restrictions would not apply to vehicles providing essential services, including fire engines, police vehicles, ambulances, etc. This measure aims to enhance traffic management and reduce congestion in key areas of the city.
