Pune: Tragic Road Accident In Pasarni Ghat Claims Two Lives, Two Seriously Injured
Wai, 14th March 2025: A devastating accident occurred on the Mahabaleshwar-Wai road in Pasarni Ghat, where a car carrying four young men from Loni Kalbhor plunged into a 100-meter-deep valley. The accident occurred around 5 pm on Thursday (13th March) and claimed the lives of two individuals on the spot, while the other two sustained serious injuries and were rushed to a private hospital in Wai for treatment.
The deceased have been identified as Akshay Mhasku Kalbhor (26) and Saurabh Jalindar Kalbhor (26). The injured, Vaibhav Kalbhor (24) and Bajrang Parvatrao Kalbhor (35), are undergoing medical treatment.
The four friends had traveled to Mahabaleshwar two days earlier for a trip and were returning to Loni Kalbhor when the driver lost control of the vehicle while navigating Pasarni Ghat. As a result, the car veered off the road and plunged into the valley.
Local residents quickly responded and helped rescue the victims, who were taken to a private hospital in Wai. However, doctors declared Akshay and Saurabh dead on arrival, while the other two continue to receive medical care.
